Job Summary
- Responsible for leading the development and management of a product or product portfolio, from concept to market launch and ongoing success. The role will work alongside a team of product and program managers who will create and develop innovative Fintech products, drive enterprise programs through all phases of the product lifecycle, ensuring it meets financial and contractual obligations. The role will also work with cross-functional teams with participants from other units in the company to align major products and initiatives of the group with the goals of the YGC group.
How will you contribute
- Product Strategy. Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the bank's overall goals and market demands.
- Market Research and Analysis. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends and competitive landscapes. Use data and insights to make informed decisions
- Product Planning and Roadmap. Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the products development features, and enhancements over time. Prioritize features and projects based on market and customer feedback.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing and sales to execute the product strategy. Serves as the primary point of contact for product-related questions and decisions
- User Experience (UX) and Design. Work with design and UX teams to ensure that the product meets user experience and design standards
- Development Management. Manage the product development process, including defining requirements, creating user stories and setting development priorities.
- Product Launch. Plan and execute product launches, including coordinating marketing and sales strategies. Monitor the launch's success and adjust the strategy as necessary
- Customer Feedback. Gather and incorporate customer feedback to enhance the product's features and user experience
- Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides and release notes. Communicate product updates and changes to internal teams and customers
- Actively seeks out information regarding regulatory, business, and technology changes and industry trends to ensure delivery of best possible customer experience
- Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies
- Must ensure that all items within his/her scope are compliant with the various policies and guidelines of the following internal and external stakeholders, but not limited to RCBC, BSP and AMLC. Such that any item found to be irregular and non-compliant will be the officer's responsibility to report to his/her immediate supervisor and/or as prescribed by the bank's policy on reporting and escalating items of the said nature
What will make you successful
- College Graduate with a business-related course
- Must have proven experience as a Product manager or in a similar role.
- With at least 5 to 7 years experience in Product development and Management, Portfolio Management, Process Improvement, Developing Standards, Managing Processes and Procedures, Branch Banking Processing, Dealing with Complexity, Customer Service and focus on the CX journey.
