The Product Development Engineer designs manufactured goods by integrating market research to deliver products that will meet company goals. As a product development engineer, you will be working on all stages of the production process, from research and development to prototype testing and quality assurance. Your duties include creating drafts and blueprints, assessing proper materials, setting goals, and researching competitive products.
Graduate of BS Chemical Engineering or BS Material Science and Engineering- At least 6 months to 1 year work experience in manufacturing industry
Can work under minimal supervision- Must be analytical and keen to details
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply that has internship related to the position - Willing to be assigned in First Industrial Estate Cavite, Dasma Cavite
Can start immediately
- Conducts stability tests for newly developed products.
- Review existing designs, supporting the enhancement or revision of products.
- Evaluates alternative raw materials for new and existing products.
- Maintains records of all product formulations. Updates changes or modifies them if needed.
- Conducts research on alternative materials, processes and technologies, and fats and oils-related product concepts and recommends adoption or further study as necessary.
- Recommends change in formulations to improve product quality or reduce cost, as necessary.
- Assists Purchasing Department in raw material testing and application.
- Assists Quality Assurance and Production Departments in troubleshooting activities.
- Performs duties and functions in lieu of other product specialists as needed, or other duties assigned by superior.
