Overview:
The Product Design Specialist will take their expertise in user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiencesfrom concept to execution. Youll work with other designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
What you will do:
- Help drive the future vision for specific product features or domains, making sure the overall experience is holistic and cohesive, and delivering on incremental steps to help the team reach key business objectives.
- Deliver polished, intuitive and accessible user experiences
- Be the advocate of our users within the broader team, equipped with the knowledge and insight gained through conducting user research sessions, learning from previous insights, reading data reports or running benchmarking studies.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketers and other business stakeholders to understand product requirements and priorities, and influence the product experience with innovative UX and design solutions.
- Ensure that all design artefacts you create (from user journey maps to prototypes and final UI designs) are aligned with the design system, and help develop the system with new patterns, styles, guidelines and best practices.
What we are looking for:
- Background in Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication Design, Motion Design, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of experience in designing digital products and services
- Experience in designing for cross platform (iOS, Android, web, tablet, etc.)
- Experience in launching large scale products
- Track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary UX and/or product teams on technical implementation
- Fluency with storytelling and other communication tools that enable persuasive communicate findings to a non-technical audience
- Experience in implementing design systems is a plus
- Experience in digital banking, digital payments and financial services is a plus
- Experience in designing for B2B, SaaS or enterprise software is a plus
- Experience in accessibility is a plus.
