Responsible for handling technical matters on low voltage breakers, including Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs), and Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs).
Governing IEC Standards particularly IEC 60947-2 and 60898 and relevant installation standards. Troubleshoot methodologies and maintenance requirements for these systems.
Ensure that all product applications and documentation are in strict compliance with national and international standards, as well as legal requirements.
Maintain and update knowledge of various power systems, focusing on their application in low-voltage power distribution and the integration of CHINT products.
Design and deliver technical training modules for panel builders and retailers, focusing on the product selection, coordination study, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of CHINT's Low Voltage product range.
Develop training materials and conduct sessions that address specific technical needs and compliance standards for low-voltage products.
Provide expert-level technical support, resolving complex customer issues in collaboration with the sales team to tailor solutions that meet unique customer demands.
Undertake detailed electrical coordination studies and prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for power distribution systems.
Utilize design software such as AutoCAD to create accurate technical drawings and electrical schematics for project implementation.
Compile comprehensive Bills of Materials based on project requirements, ensuring accuracy in component selection and cost estimation. Actively contribute to the innovation process by providing market insights and customer feedback to the product development team.
Job requirements:
Diploma/ Degree in electrical engineering or a related field
At least 5 years of hands-on technical expertise handling low voltage breakers, including Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs), and Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs).
Proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD is highly preferred, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software as needed.
Knowledge of Governing IEC Standards, particularly IEC 60947-2 and 60898 would be an added advantage.
Excellent communication and training skills who can communicate at all levels.
