- Ensures proper protocol for purchase and budget approval
- Double check details on purchase request received prior to disseminate for canvassing and give priority on the most urgent request.
- Procuring cheaper materials from alternative sources without sacrificing the quality.
- Immediate processing of purchase orders
- Identify request with no purchase order required
- Materials Delivery Process
- Monitor deliveries by continuous follow-ups and remind supplier based on commitment date agreed.
- Coordination
- Proper coordination with supplier and end-user.
- Relay important information and feedback to all concerned department.
- Regularly report to immediate superior.
- Suppliers Documentation
- Update vendors database from time to time.
- Acquire additional suppliers through attending expositions/ exhibits and establish credit terms.
- People Management
- Continuous monitor subordinates work/ activities to ensure effectiveness on the assigned duties.
- Company rules should be followed with proper orientation and updates.
- Others
- Assist to plan and implement department objective and strategies.
-Assist immediate superior in addressing complaints and resolve problems may occur.
- Job Qualifications:
-Minimum Education : Graduate of any four (4) year course
- Experience Required : At least two (2) years work experience as supervisor / manager specializing in Purchasing Management or equivalent
-Computer literate, with good negotiation, communication and analytical skills
