Our business requires an experienced Procurement Staff - Importation to join our dynamic team for an immediate start.
Identify and evaluate international suppliers/vendors for various product categories.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.- Coordinate importation activities, including managing documentation, customs clearance, and logistics.
Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and customs procedures to minimize risk and avoid delays.
- Monitor and track shipments, resolve import-related issues, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.- Optimize inventory levels, lead times, and transportation methods to streamline import processes and minimize costs.
Renewal of importation certificate.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as logistics, warehousing, and finance, to align importation activities with overall business objectives.
Maintain accurate records of import documentation, contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
Stay updated with industry trends, import regulations, and best practices.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance importation efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement, import/export operations, or supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.- With at least two (2) years experience in sourcing and negotiation
Computer literate. Proficient in the use of MS Office Application
- Organized, trustworthy and details oriented
Willing to work on-site in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City
