Our business requires an experienced Procurement Staff - Importation to join our dynamic team for an immediate start.
  • Job Description
Identify and evaluate international suppliers/vendors for various product categories.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate importation activities, including managing documentation, customs clearance, and logistics.
Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and customs procedures to minimize risk and avoid delays.
  • Monitor and track shipments, resolve import-related issues, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
  • Optimize inventory levels, lead times, and transportation methods to streamline import processes and minimize costs.
Renewal of importation certificate.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as logistics, warehousing, and finance, to align importation activities with overall business objectives.
Maintain accurate records of import documentation, contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
Stay updated with industry trends, import regulations, and best practices.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance importation efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement, import/export operations, or supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
  • With at least two (2) years experience in sourcing and negotiation
Computer literate. Proficient in the use of MS Office Application
  • Organized, trustworthy and details oriented
Willing to work on-site in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,
  • 00 - Php25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Pasig City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:
  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:
  • Procurement staff in Importation: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

* 100% (Preferred)
