PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position will be part of the C&W Shared Services team for procurement with a focus on the Technology & Data Solutions (TDS) requests along with the Corporate Category Management (CM) operations. This will encompass strategic sourcing, contract administration, vendor relationship management, negotiations, and operations for procurement activities within scope.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement Support:
    • Review and support procurement strategies aligned with C&Ws goals and objections
    • Provide support for activities such as preparing purchase orders, managing requisitions, and final invoice payment.

  • Sourcing & Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with TDS and Corporate Category Managers to source new suppliers, evaluate capabilities, identify suitable solutions, and work to award contracts.
    • Assist the team to manage supplier relationships to ensure the procurement of high-quality products and services while negotiating favorable terms and agreements.
    • Monitor programs and initiatives to achieve all goals, metrics, KPIs, and generate necessary reports.
    • Escalate issues with respect to supplier performance and quality.

  • Cost Control:
    • Analyze procurement data, help monitor costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or service.
    • Conduct the RFP tender process to support program goals and requirements, includes interpreting contracts and negotiating favorable terms with vendors to achieve savings.

  • Process Improvement:
    • Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to continuously enhance processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Contract Management:
    • Review and advise on contracts and other business documents including adherence to company policy, compliance, and legal requirements.
    • Performs the process of contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals with guidance from manager.

  • Teamwork:
    • Integrate with a team of procurement professionals to support company objections. Perform other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
    • Engage remotely and across time zones while collaborating with diverse cultures. Work schedule Monday through Friday with overlap to North America business hours.
Knowledge And Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with procurement best practices, sourcing, and vendor management.
  • Basic understanding of contract negotiation, legal terms, and regulatory compliance in English.
  • Good team collaboration skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in a shared services environment is a plus.
