Littelfuse, Inc. operates as a supplier of circuit protection products for the electronics, automotive and electrical industries. The Procurement Manager will lead the Sourcing team at the Semiconductor Business Unit (SBU) Lipa site, overseeing projects related to BCP, new qualifications, and cost-saving initiatives across both direct and indirect material categories. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for identifying and mitigating material supply risks, presenting procurement performance, monitoring New Product Development (NPD) progress, and managing customer targets and delivery expectations. This position reports to the Asia Region Procurement Manager, SBU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all procurement activities at the SBU Lipa site, managing both direct and indirect material procurement for the site.
- Lead and develop the local procurement team to ensure that material supply priorities are met in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the SBU Lipa NPD (New Transfer Projects) by collaborating with internal stakeholders (across sites or business units) to ensure timely delivery of sampling materials, supplier sourcing/selection, price negotiations, and system creation.
- Provide regular status updates on all procurement projects to the site management team, Asia Region Sourcing Manager, SBU, and the SBU Global Sourcing Senior Director.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure engagement and alignment with sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Quality, Planning, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop and implement BCP strategies, supporting business continuity and ongoing cost-saving efforts, including new qualification plans and short- and long-term sourcing roadmaps (1-3 years and 3-5 years).
- Drive improvements in work efficiency, ensuring full compliance with procurement policies and company procedures.
- Ensure that sourcing team members receive the necessary training and development to maintain high performance and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of procurement experience, with a preference for background in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong experience in people management.
- Preferred knowledge of global sourcing for stamping, chemical, and metal parts materials.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint; excellent presentation skills are essential.
- Proven experience in working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
- High-level planning and project management capabilities.
- Ability to proactively identify and solve problems.
Salary: 90 000 - 120 000 PHP
