Job Description

The Role will report directly to the Head of Procurement and Administration and support the procurement of non trade supplies, Fixed Assets, Construction, Services and IT. He/She will manage the Procurement team and activities such as communication with requestors, review and approval of supplier accreditation, Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, Contract management and cost reduction.
  • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership and develop category sourcing strategies, data analysis, set direction, develop plan, implement and monitor strategy/plan
  • Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for sourcing transactions
Develop working relationships with senior management, understand their business drivers and requirements.
  • Carry out in depth supplier due diligence. Ensure vendors comply with the requirements, contract terms and conditions.
Evaluate competitive offering from suppliers and present sourcing options that meets the business requirements
  • Lead the negotiations and lead the contract development process
Maintains compliance with all policy and process guidelines
  • Ensure the Service Level Agreement and KPIs are met
Conducts in-depth cost and spend analysis in order develop target savings initiatives through cost reduction.
  • Supports the development of individual knowledge and skills of team members
