Procurement Manager (Construction)

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that support construction project timelines and budgetary goals.
Identify potential suppliers and subcontractors, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites.
Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and subcontractors, monitor their performance, and address issues or concerns as they arise.
  • Evaluate and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements related to procurement in the construction industry.
  • Manage the procurement team, provide leadership and guidance, and foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Oversee the procurement budget, track expenses, and report on procurement activities to senior management.
  • Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven work experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar procurement role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Familiarity with procurement software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to optimize procurement processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php32,
  • 00 - Php40,000.00 per month
