The position exists to manage the entire procurement department day to day operations. Responsible for development of every procurement category strategy, commodity management, implementing benchmarking metrics and best practice transfer to ensure optimized cost with best quality, develop & train high capability suppliers building strategic relationship with Ana's Breeders Farms & Affiliates procurement policy, process & negotiation tools in the area of raw materials.
Procurement Manager will functionally and solid reporting to Supply Chain Manager/FAIP Administrator. He/She will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, planning and operations of Procurement Department, ensure efficient, effective and timely service to internal customer.
Ensure compliance with the Procurement processes by facilitating internal assessment and coordinating with supplier.- Direct and manage all activities associated with Procurement Department with the objective of ensuring supply increasing Procurement spend to 100% coverage for all vendors and 3rdparty contractors.
Approves procurement request of goods and services at best value, consistent with the ABFI procurement and financial policies and procedures.
- Implements and monitor contract management, amendments and other goods & services supply agreements, ensuring that all specifications, terms and conditions are clear and in accordance with ABFI standards.
Innovates complex business model, develops strategic for risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management and operations improvement.- Leads cost improvement initiatives, develops and implements process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day activities.
Maintains a strong supply base. Manages supplier relationship, to optimize cost competitiveness and drives continuous improvements in supplier quality performance.
- Develops and executes Operations Excellence program for cost reduction opportunities with the inventory materials and services through Pipeline of Value in collaboration and partnership with cross-functional teams.
Manages the contracting process including the initial requirements determination, legal and financial reviews and approval. Be involve with contract negotiations development and execution activities.- Coordinates audit compliance for Procurements (when applicable).
Monitor and tracks site performance metrics and supplier complaints.
- Oversee Raw Ingredients, Packaging Materials supply situation as well as other indirect categories. Supervises execution of movement plan.
Ensure clear and complete documentation on all procurement activities.- Upholds fiduciary responsibilities and business controls; actively ensure and maintain adherence to ABFI standards and values, quality commitments, ethics, policies and procedures and professional standards.
Performs other duties as requested by the Management.
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager/FAIP Administrator
Supervises: Procurement Supervisors & Specialist, DCI, Shuttle Driver
Interacts with: All departments across the Organization
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Procurement, Industrial Engineer, Supply Chain related field. Professional knowledgeable in procurement practices, Supply Market, Terms, Negotiation Concept and Business Laws.
At least five (5) years of management experience in the FMCG industry.
Demonstrate ability to take initiative and drive complex projects to close within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage employees located at various site/facilities.
Excellent Leadership and communications and presentations skills.- System literacy such as: SAP, e-Catalogue, e-Purchasing, MS Dynamic AX is required.
