Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, quality improvement, and risk mitigation.
Lead the sourcing process, including identifying potential suppliers, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts.- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to contractual terms.
Monitor market trends and analyze supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong internal relationships with stakeholders across departments to understand their procurement needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.- Prepare and manage procurement budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular reports on procurement performance.
Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and techniques.- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and developing a team of procurement professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant procurement software.
