Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate suppliers and other necessary materials.
Negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms, including pricing, delivery, and quality of goods.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
Monitor inventory levels of critical supplies machine parts, and other consumables.
Implement efficient inventory management practices to ensure there's no overstocking or stockouts.
Schedule regular inventory audits and reconcile inventory with records.
Develop and manage the procurement budget.
Monitor spending against budget and report on variances.
Seek ways to reduce costs through strategic purchasing and efficient use of resources.
- Compliance and Quality Control:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Implement quality control measures to ensure supplies meet required standards.
Handle issues related to supply quality with vendors to ensure resolution.
Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers.
Ensure that all contracts are clear on deliverables, timelines, and penalties for non-compliance.
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement metrics, performance
against goals, and opportunities for improvement.
Use data analytics to improve procurement strategies and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Procurement or Supply Chain: 5 years (Preferred) Can speak and write in mandarin.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on achieving results and driving continuous improvement.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
