- Role and Responsibilities
- Sources out contractors for different scope of works in the project
- Prepares Purchase Orders to be released to contractors on identified scope of work
- Establish standards and guidelines for contractors, monitoring them to ensure these policies are being followed
- Reviews and inspects submitted progress billings of subcontractors to ensure proper documentation for payment is in place.
- Maintains vendor relationships for long term business deal of the project
- Develops qualified vendors for civil works
- Formulation and execution of contracts
- Assists in the development of vendor management framework, policies and documentation
- Managing expectations of internal stakeholders
- Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their capabilities for potential subcontracting agreements
- Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and work quality.
- Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations.
- Assists in Vendor Performance evaluations
- Assists in costing of various scope of works
- Qualifications and Education
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in related field
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Licensed)
- With relevant working experience in procurement of contractors and services
- Preferred Skills - Analytical, Decision-Making, Math and Negotiating Skills
- Personal Skills - Attention to detail, proactive, methodical, good customer and good problem-solving skills
