Procurement/ Buyer Lead

_ABOUT THE ROLE:_

The Procurement Lead is responsible for processing purchase requests and orders, canvassing purchases, sourcing suppliers and negotiating amounts, and quantity and quality of purchases to procure high-quality non-medical products which yield high value for money.

_YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS:_

• Coordinates with suppliers and ensures accurate documentation wherein all purchases correspond with approved requests, and purchase orders (POs)

Inspects deliveries of purchases for accuracy of amount, quantity and quality prior to acceptance.

• Negotiates contracts by evaluating potential supplier's proposals to ensure efficient property procurement.

Monitors and inspects conditions of stocks and fixtures, classifies and arranges them in the warehouse, and keeps all in good storage condition to ensure availability, safekeeping, and prevent damage.

• Personally procures materials and supplies when these are not available for delivery by supplier.

Ensures accurate documentation by thoroughly verifying all supplies issuances are documented and have corresponding requisition documents.

• Recommends systems and procedures in procurement of supplies to ensure efficient and timely procurement.

_QUALIFICATIONS:_

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, supply Chain or other related programs.

At least 3-5 years work experience in purchasing and other related fields

• Proficient in SAP

Has procurement experience in IT and other facets

• Procurement experience in any healthcare industry is a plus

A proven record of process improvement

• Is a strategic thinker

Computer Literate

• Good Communication Skills

Exceptional Negotiation skills

• Organization and Prioritization skills
