Main Responsibilities:Ensure that materials, parts, and services are provided to end-users within the acceptable time frame in accordance with the required technical specifications, quality, quantity, cost, and existing company policies and procedures:
- Select suppliers of sound reputation and with financial responsibility and adequate facilities who can serve the best interest of the company in meeting their commitments
Develop and maintain good relations with suppliers- Render impartial and unbiased judgments essential to the proper conduct of purchase activities
Monitor the delivery position so as to ensure prompt delivery from the vendor
- Perform an inspection of the goods at the vendor's factory or loading port whenever necessary
Bachelor's/College degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering/Business Administration or any related courses
- With at least 1 year of relevant experience (Procurement, Purchasing, Technical Buying) in the steel manufacturing industry
Knowledge in Electrical Works, Negotiations, Evaluation of Vendor Proposals- Background in Design is a plus (for Electrical)
Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good negotiation, planning, and organizational skills
Able to work in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
