Responsible to collate approved purchase requisitions as basis for canvassing of materials, goods and services.- Responsible for sourcing of suppliers for materials, goods and services requisitioned/requested.
Ensuring canvassed materials, goods or services will be in accordance with specification being requested.
- Responsible to follow up and collate accreditation documents of supplier (local and import). Responsible to do the initial negotiation on prices and terms of payment.
Responsible to prepare canvass sheet abstract.- Responsible to do random visits to suppliers to check if there is/are enough stocks of materials or goods that will be purchase.
Responsible to seek approval of samples, drawings and other materials or goods from requestor and its approving Head.
