Job Summary: The Process Improvement and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and enhancing financial business processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with industry regulations and internal standards. This role involves identifying areas for financial process optimization, implementing best practices and ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.
Analyze current financial business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement- Develop and implement process improvement strategies and initiatives
Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to improve workflows
- Monitor the impact of process changes and ensure continuous improvement
Ensure the organization's financial operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and incidents
- 3. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial process improvements and compliance activities- Prepare and present reports on process efficiency, compliance status, and improvement initiative to senior management
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulatory authorities as required
- 4. Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement financial process improvements and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with legal, audit, and other departments to address compliance and process-related issues
Communicate process changes and compliance requirements effectively to all stake holders
Identify potential risks associated with financial business processes and compliance- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management measures
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, or in any related field
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Process Improvement, Compliance, or a related field, with at least 3 years in Managerial role.
Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies and compliance standards, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills, strong project management and organizational abilities, good interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in process improvement tools, and a high level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
