Private Duty Nurse Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide in-home medical assistance to your assigned patient
Assess the physical and emotional needs of each patient Assist with feedings
- Monitor patient vitals and take blood pressure readings
Assist with other total nursing care duties- Complete patient care documentation and other paperwork
Make independent clinical decisions when necessary
Private Duty Nurse Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
LVN/LPN or RN license- Patient care experience a plus, preferred for LVN/LPNs
Interpersonal and critical thinking skills
