In the absence of the physician, she organizes and administers a health service program integrating occupational safety in accordance with the physician's established health programs.
Provides nursing care and first aid to injured or ill employees.
Participates in accident/incident investigation.
Participates in health maintenance examination. If a physician is not available, performs activities within the scope allowed by the profession, and if more extensive examinations are needed, refers the same to a physician.
Participates in the maintenance of occupational health and safety by providing suggestions in the improvement of working environment affecting health and well-being of employees.
Maintains a reporting and records system. Prepares and submits annual medical report to DOLE-BWC.
Monitors blood pressure of employees regularly.
Monitors medicine supply and condition of medical equipment and ensures availability and functionality.
Schedules Annual Physical Examination for all regular employees and consolidates results.
Assists in the implementation of Health Programs.
Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Assist with other total nursing care duties.
Complete patient care documentation and other paperwork.
Make independent clinical decisions when necessary.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
RN license.
Patient care experience a plus, preferred for LVN/LPNs.
