A Private Investigator is someone able to share his/her investigative and analytical strategies and experience, specifically in gathering critical information on personal, financial, and legal matters to performing background checks, assisting with searches for missing persons, and conducting surveillance to help improve the organization's investigative services.
The Private Investigator is an effective, organized, and analytical professional who can multi-task duties but is still able to complete requirements accurately and deliver them with high quality and in a timely manner. He / She is experienced in exercising sound judgment while studying cases with the aim of solving them, verifying claims, collecting intelligence and evidence, and tracking leads and personalities.
Requirements
- Must be a college graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, Criminology, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Forensics, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant job experience in investigations
- With a valid Private Investigator license, and has completed an 8hour pre-licensing and refresher course for certified investigators
- Certified and trained in conducting various types of investigations such as background checks, surveillance and counter-surveillance operations, undercover operations, corporate intelligence, crime scene investigation and evidence preservation, criminal detection, fraud, cognitive interviewing, interrogation, fingerprint analysis, etc
- Knowledgeable on relevant laws and regulations as well as ethical standards and practices in conducting investigations, and has been trained on firearms and non-weapon self-defense
- Preferably has experience attending court hearings and assisting clients legal counsel in presenting evidence
- Fluent in both English and Filipino (Tagalog and other local languages), may it be spoken or written in order to communicate well with people from different backgrounds and status
- With a Driver's License, can drive, and is able to travel in different areas to conduct investigative missions
- Has high levels of discretion, confidentiality, integrity, discipline, professionalism, and interpersonal relations
- Must be willing to work in BGC
