Who is Pioneer Golf- A well-established, Scottish-owned golf travel company in Austin, TX that organizes golf trips for its mostly American and Canadian customers. Our clients are groups of friends or fellow country club members that are headed abroad on a golf trip.
One of the two largest golf tour operators servicing Scotland. Scotland is the #1 destination worldwide for the traveling golfer. The third or fourth largest golf tour operator servicing Ireland/Northern Ireland (the #2 destination worldwide).- An official distributor of tee times for the St Andrews Old Course, arguably the most famous golf course in the world and certainly the oldest.
Current focus is Scotland and Ireland but expanding destination offerings and looking forward to growing significantly over the next few years.

The company is well-poised to grow significantly, and we are in the process of building a great team. Revenues have doubled this past year as compared to our best previous year due to focus on growth. Golf and travel are booming post-pandemic.
Build, revise and review trip pricings for potential clients.- Build & proof proposals for each client using our proposal software and templates.
Provide quotes for our clients to compare accommodations and golf courses when changes occur post sign-up.
- Work with multiple departments throughout the entire process for each trip on pricing related questions.
Create/Edit content for proposals.- Perform mark-up analysis for each trip prior to presenting the client with their final pricing.
Assist in ensuring each trip is booked correctly by our Trip Coordinators (Account Managers)
- Stay up to date on vendor terms and conditions and update vendor pricing in database
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions- Develop policies and procedures to streamline pricing & proposal processes, automate manual tasks, and enhance operational efficiency
Collaborate with multiple departments to gather financial data, provide insights, and support strategic initiatives.
- Perform other various tasks and duties throughout the entire trip building process.
A dynamic, detail oriented, critical thinker who finds it easy to work with numbers and has strong Google sheet skills. Someone who is organized and efficient enough to handle a high volume of proposals, quotes, re-pricings, and audits of final documents. In addition, this individual would be able to delegate and manage teammates effectively and communicate with our clients in a professional manner.
- You have a high level of computer skills and are resourceful.
You have a solid understanding of basic math in order to calculate correct prices on packages and/or hotel nights taking into account factors such as inflation and exchange rates is crucial.- You have a superior ability to prioritize numerous tasks
You have a high level of efficiency on Google Suite, especially Google Sheets.
- You don't mind doing repetitive work, while keeping a strong pace and working neatly.
At least 2 years of financial analysis experience, pricing, or similar relevant experience with solid understanding of mathematics involving inflation and exchange rates.
- Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred)
G-Suite: 3 years (Preferred)
Familiarity with various accounting software systems- At least 1 year of client proposal creation or related experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
