The Pre-construction Supervisor's primary responsibility is to manage, in collaboration with the rest of the planning team, the successful completion of pre-construction works required in all projects. The role will oversee the planning and execution of site visits, validation of technical assessments of properties, and review of submitted technical study reports by contractors/consultants.
Assist Pre-con Engineer in ensuring site visit requests are properly executed
- Validate technical assessments of visited properties including proper cost estimates
Coordinate and award contracts for technical studies and review technical reports submitted by contractors/consultants- Report any inconsistencies and issues arising from site visits, technical studies, and all other related pre-con works
Licensed Civil Engineer- Must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD and other engineering software
With at least five (5) years experience as Cost Engineer or Planning Engineer is a plus
- Experience in Real Estate and affordable housing is a plus
Must have good people skills and good management skills to handle tasks, timelines, and suppliers- Must be able to work well with other departments
Must be organized, detail oriented, meets deadlines, and resourceful to find solutions to problems
