Job SummaryThe Port Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all port operations for Supply Oilfield Services, Inc. in Batangas. This role involves managing personnel, equipment, and processes to ensure efficient and safe handling of oilfield supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Port Operations Management:- Oversee daily port operations, including cargo handling, vessel loading/unloading, and inventory management.
Develop and implement efficient port procedures and workflows to maximize productivity and minimize costs.- Ensure compliance with all relevant port regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Monitor port equipment and infrastructure, ensuring proper maintenance and repair.
Supervise and manage port operations personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.- Foster a safe and productive work environment.
Resolve employee issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Logistics and Supply Chain:
Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of oilfield supplies and equipment to the port.- Optimize inventory levels to meet operational needs while minimizing carrying costs.
Collaborate with shipping and transportation departments to arrange efficient cargo movement.
Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and emergency procedures.- Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
Maintain a secure port environment to protect personnel, equipment, and cargo.
- Performance Analysis and Improvement:
Analyze port operations data to identify areas for improvement.- Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in port operations, preferably in the oilfield services industry.
Strong understanding of port regulations, customs procedures, and international trade.- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office Suite, port management software).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of oilfield equipment and supplies.- Experience with hazardous materials handling.
Project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
