Pollution Control Officer

A Pollution Control Officer (PCO) inspects and investigates sources of pollution to protect the public and environment and ensure conformance with regulations and ordinances. The PCO examines and updates permits, licenses, applications, and records of compliance. They prepare and present reports and determine the nature of code or law violations and actions to be taken. Other activities include conducting maintenance of systems and proper storage of regulated chemicals.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree/College Degree in Engineering or related field (Chemical Engineer is an advantage)

• Chemical Engineer Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply

DENR/LLDA accredited PCO - Category B

• Completed the prescribed 40-hour Basic PCO Training course by an EMB-recognized training organization

With at least 1 2 years of working experience in a related field (manufacturing) is an advantage

• Willing to work in Carmona, Cavite from Monday to Saturday (7:00 am to 4:00 pm)

• The Pollution Control Officer (PCO) shall be responsible for the following:

Ensure that all requirements have been complied with and permits/licenses are secured and renewed.

• Monitor activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution sources and control facilities.

Submit periodic reports to different government agencies such as DENR-EMB, LLDA, PDEA, NWRB, DOLE, BFP, ERC and LGU.

• Provide action needed to correct or prevent an environmental (actual/potential) problem to maintain satisfactory environmental performance.

Other duties may be assigned from time to time

• Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of DENR and LLDA compliances and other environmental laws and regulations.

• Keen on details and has a good leadership skill.

With a strong dynamic personality and excellent leadership and communication skills
