Job description Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related course
- Must have Basic Occupational Health & Safety Certificate (BOSH) for Safety Officer 2
Must have Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Certificate issued by DENR- With at least 2 year experience in Manufacturing Industry
Knowledgeable in Safety Officer functions and ISO Standards
- In-charge to handle Pollution Control Officer and Safety Officer duties simultaneously
_Job Duties as Safety Officer:
_
- Responsible on all matters pertaining to health and safety.
- Ensures that all legal requirements are being complied.
- Conducts and coordinates safety training programs and health and safety inspection
- Submit periodic reports related to health and safety to different Government Agencies.
- Executes action needed to correct or prevent actual and potential non-conformity eliminate or reduced risk to maintain satisfactory the occupational health and safety
performance.
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Job Duties as Pollution Control Officer:

- Ensure all requirements are complied and permits/licenses are secured or renewed.
- Monitor activities pertaining the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities.
- Ensures compliance with noise, waste, air, water quality standards.
- Submit periodic reports to different Government Agencies.
- Provide action needed to correct or prevent an environmental (actual/potential) problem to
maintain satisfactory environmental performance.
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
