The
POKER DEALER is responsible for dealing poker games, accepting bets, paying winners, and collecting from non-winners. The role involves handling player transactions, maintaining security, and notifying the pit supervisor of any irregularities or disputes that may arise during the game. The Poker Dealer must be customer-focused, maintain a positive atmosphere, and effectively communicate with diverse customers. This position reports to the TG Floor Supervisor/Shift Manager.
- Deal poker games while addressing customer inquiries regarding gaming procedures and payouts.
Verify customer identification when necessary.- Operate in assigned areas as directed.
Accurately enter, access, and retrieve data using computers.
- Maintain accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
Ensure security protocols are followed according to established rules.- Discreetly notify the Supervisor immediately of any suspicious activity.
Take responsibility for any shortages and repay them to the Poker Room.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience handling large volumes of cash.
- Proficiency in basic math, including arithmetic, ratios, and proportions.
Prior experience in customer-facing roles.
