Plumber

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs technical troubleshooting and maintenance of plumbing systems and equipment.

• Education:

Must have TESDA NCII in Plumbing

Knowledge on operating, repairs and maintenance of pipe systems, units, fittings and related equipment

Knowledge on plumbing maintenance and repairs

• Experience:

At least one (1) year working experience of the same capacity or background.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs routine preventive plumbing maintenance.
  

• Modify, clean, or maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, or related machines or equipment, using hand or power tools.
  

• Maintain or repair plumbing by replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, or opening clogged drains.
  

• Inspects, examine or test installed systems or pipe lines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions, or read work orders to determine required repairs.
  

• Maintain or repair plumbing by replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, or opening clogged drains using proper tools.
  

• Reports to maintenance engineer or supervisor site situations that need supervisorial actions or decision (those that are out of scope of the routine preventive maintenance).
  

• Ensures that areas/sites of responsibility are well-maintained
  
  Prepares daily and weekly report of all activities.
  
• Position specifications:

Involves moderate discomfort and/or risk such as operating heavy machinery or dangerous equipment, or frequent exposure to hazardous materials

Involves lifting of heavy materials and work tools

Alternatively, the work area may be subject to environmental discomfort such as poor ventilation, loud noises, and/or extremes of heat or cold.

Work often requires wearing protective gear that may be uncomfortable

Works indoors and outdoors and will be exposed to variable weather when working outdoors

Work requires continuous moderate with some strenuous physical exertion including standing, climbing, crawling, and regular lifting of objects

Will work on heights when needed

_Competency Requirements:_

- Skills on basic to technical problem solving, judgment, time management, communication, customer relations, and interpersonal skills.

- Basic to advance knowledge and skills in handling and in troubleshooting plumbing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13,000.00 - Php15,000.00 per month

* 8 hour shift
