JOB DESCRIPTION:
Helmerich and Payne (H&P), a leader in the Oil and Gas Drilling services industry, is seeking a skilled Platform Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration and development of our Alteryx, Salesforce, and other critical systems. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation, support, and enhancement of our data analytics, CRM, and various enterprise solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Platform Administration:
- Manage and maintain the Alteryx, Salesforce, and other systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform regular system audits, data integrity checks, and backups.
- Monitor platform health and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce security policies to safeguard sensitive information.
Development and Customization:
- Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows, Salesforce configurations, and other system customizations to meet business requirements.
- Create custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Automate repetitive tasks and data processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to enhance user proficiency in Alteryx, Salesforce, and other systems.
- Assist in onboarding new users and ensure they have the necessary access and training.
Collaboration and Improvement:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to identify and implement process improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Alteryx, Salesforce, and other relevant technologies to ensure the platforms are leveraged to their full potential.
- Participate in the evaluation and integration of new tools and technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in platform administration and development, preferably with Alteryx, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of Alteryx Designer, Server, and Gallery, as well as Salesforce administration and development (Salesforce certifications are a plus).
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with other data analytics and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of API integrations and data migration processes.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
