The role is for a Planview Analyst to work with the Mace IPMO team and a global client on their Capital Planning Portfolio Management Division. It is a client-facing role supporting fee-earning projects and programmes. You will be supporting the Data and Digital Lead to implement and continually improve Planview, and the reporting associated with it.
You'll be responsible for:
- Enable digital systems to be effectively managed with a support wrap that allows the wider project team to be at full capacity and enable better delivery of projects for our clients.
- Adhere to support a structured development lifecycle that includes requirements definition, design, development and testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, handover and post-implementation support.
- Deliver a number of projects or sub projects working closely with the digital and data lead.
- To manage some aspects of digital solution delivery and operation on a client-facing projects to enable the project/programme team to work efficiently and effectively and get access to the data they need.
- You will be the expert on planview within the project and with the client.
- You will also be required to keep documentation up to date and assist with regular reporting for the digital lead.
- You will be responsible for working with the PMO team and the client to continuously improve planview, by understanding the evolving needs of the client and projects.
- You will also be a trusted advisor to the client and PMO function.
- Responsible for advising better ways of working, within the constraints of planview.
- Project managing key elements of the software and solution life cycle.
- Working with colleagues and peers as part of a development and support team.
- Supporting the IPMO and client with developing support strategies.
- Liaise with partner IT functions and other stakeholder IT functions client and supply chain partners.
- To engage seamlessly with other teams within the client project eco-system.
- Understand and follow and set up governance models.
- Contribute to the digital centre of excellence including body of knowledge, process and case studies.
You'll need to have:
- 5+ years of relevant IT project management experience with extensive experience in planview.
- Experience of implementing the strategy and delivery of the digital systems, technologies, and services for client projects and programmes, to enable and support the project delivery teams and to ensure an efficient and successful project/programme.
- Experience of managing, implementing and supporting planview.
- Managed number of sub-project areas and tasks as assigned by the project/programme.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Being flexible with working patterns.
- Experience of working with a PMO or project delivery partner.
- A good knowledge of PMO reporting.
- Strategic thinking and planning related to technology.
- Experience of testing software, including penetration testing.
- System and enterprise architecture.
- IT project management capabilities and qualifications.
- Experience of technology and software used in the real estate and construction project management sector.
- Good stake-holder management.
