QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent, with some positions preferring an associate's degree in a related field (e.g., mechanics, electrical technology).
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in plant maintenance or a related field (experience in water treatment facilities is a plus).
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot problems.
Understanding of basic electrical and plumbing principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license (may be required).
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment like pumps, valves, filters, and chemical feed systems.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Lubricate machinery and perform routine adjustments.
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of plant instrumentation.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
May operate heavy equipment for tasks like lifting and moving machinery.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
May assist plant operators with specific tasks.
