POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Provides practical, consistent and proactive support, direction and advice to other division managers on HR procedure, policy, best practice, employment rewards, benefits and legislation to facilitate in achieving the objectives and targets in the organization.
- Define learning strategy, setting high standard principle and provide solutions. Provide pragmatic and consistent guidance and advice managers on grievance, attendance , disciplinary and performance issues
- Responsible in raising proactive issues with managers, identify practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues, and recommend appropriate action plans
- Responsible in briefing new managers on the policies and procedures of an organization in conjunction with development and learning team, provide coaching to managers on difficult and complex issues.
- Liaise with recruitment team on salary levels for existing and prospective staff consistent with organization market conditions and policies
- Review and revise HR policies in compliance with the current update or new legislation
- Develop personal policies, maintain and update policy manuals as well as employee handbooks as needed.
- Benchmark information on employee satisfaction techniques, salary packages and wage, working conditions, etc.
- Ensure antidiscrimination regulations are properly followed
- Conduct orientation on program and other educational & training programs on changes in benefits, diversity and updates
- Receive employee complaints and act accordingly to resolve them
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Utilize outside resources in order to monitor issues and concerns in employment law, communicating potential changes to senior management
- Oversees the design and implementation of human resource development programs, ensure that skills and competencies of associates meet the requirements of current operation and future goals
- Implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion efforts, organizational restructuring, or technology implementations.
- Facilitate effective communication between management and employees, including distributing HR-related information and responding to inquiries.
- Support organizational change efforts by assisting with communication, training, and transition planning.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of HR operations.
- Takes active responsibility for the overall development and management of health and welfare benefits programs. Oversees human resource personnel involved in the design, implementation and administration of health and welfare programs and in the coordination of retirement benefit programs though Finance
- Work directly with department managers in the development and management of occupational safety programs. Oversees human resource personnel involved in the design, implementation, and administration of safety programs. Ensures compliance with local country legislated requirements.
EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field
- Preferably with Masters Degree
EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES
- 5 to 8 years experience at comparable level specializing in human resources operations, managerial logic and decision making, ideally in manufacturing or related environment
- Expert in Labor Laws and Relation
- Has the ability to influence and persuade senior management level
