Responsibilities:
Report to the Senior Plant Cost Accountant or Cost Accounting Manager
Serve as a point of contact for Regional OF COEs and OF AI analysts
Coordinate with OF to prepare recurring and standard journal entries and accruals
Participate in monthly manufacturing plant closings.
Calculate manufacturing variances
Support SOX and internal audit
Attend monthly site review meetings with OF and plant personnel
Support ad-hoc analysis and questions from business partners
Ability to travel to manufacturing locations to participate in physical inventory counts and audits.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in cost or inventory accounting required (experience varies based on region & location)
BA / BS in Accounting / Finance (or local equivalent) required
CPA, CMA, MBA or local equivalent a plus
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Experience in SAP COPA a plus
Proficient in English language
General knowledge / understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and operations required
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with several business partners globally
Strong technical skills and understanding of data structures and dataflows
Strong understanding of financial information
Creativity and problem-solving capabilities to structure robust visualizations
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Required Education:
BA / BS in Accounting / Finance (or local equivalent) required
CPA, CMA, MBA or local equivalent preferred
