Planning and Design Director

A well-established architectural, planning and engineering firm in Makati City is seeking for a Director (permanent) as part of its expansion locally.

Work Duration: Mon-Fri (full time, on-site)

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and oversee day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide transparency into key initiatives progress and challenges.

Utilize relationships with department/Team heads, external partners, and vendors to guide operational decisions and strategic direction that incorporates the company's brand of commitment to environmental sustainability.

Monitor and analyze key operational metrics to ensure timely and efficient task completion including BIM.

Ensure successful delivery of projects including, but not limited to architecture design, urban design, interior design, masterplan, site development plan, urban planning services, development advisory, and interior design within agreed budget and timelines.

Formulate strategies to expand programs across the organization and implement process enhancements to optimize output and reduce costs.

Work in collaboration with the Business Development unit in identifying new opportunities to be pursued and target collections for signed projects.

Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate closely with the HR team to foster a culture of integrity, trust, inclusivity, and productivity within the team.

Get support from all administrative functions from GM and Admin Team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

10 to 15 years of senior operations leadership experience in a relevant industry.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership abilities, demonstrated through previous professional achievements.

Profound understanding of various operational functions and principles, encompassing finance, customer service, production, and team management.

Proven track record of planning and managing operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Ability to transmit corporate values and be an example of integrity and trust for the rest of the teams of the organization.

Thorough knowledge of Architecture and Planning industry regulations and legal frameworks.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent in business administration or a related field and preferably a licensed Architect and a licensed Environmental Planner.
• Proficient with Revit
• Good standing in relevant professional associations
• Experience in developing budgets and strategic business plans.
• Preferably with project development experience (planning to construction)
• Preferably handled international projects (specifically environmental aspects)
• Strong negotiation skills for internal and external purposes.
• Experience in successfully presenting designs, masterplans and proposals at client meetings, seminars, conferences and industry events
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics, utilizing business management software such as SAP, ERP, or CRM platforms.
