PL/SQL Developer

• Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled PL/SQL Developer with expertise in Oracle database technologies and a strong understanding of SQL best practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining PL/SQL code and applications to support our business needs. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of database technologies, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB NoSQL, and MSSQL, as well as scripting languages such as JavaScript, Bash Shell, and Batch scripting.

• Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain PL/SQL code and applications to support business requirements.

• Optimize and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.

Debug and troubleshoot issues related to database performance, data integrity, and application functionality.

• Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and views to support application requirements.

Utilize Oracle Scheduler for job scheduling and automation tasks.

• Perform Oracle Database Administration tasks, including backup and recovery, user management, and database performance tuning.

Develop and maintain applications using Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, and Reports.

• Integrate data from various sources and formats using Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in database development and administration.

• Required Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, with a deep understanding of best practices and optimization techniques.

• Experience with Oracle Database Administration tasks, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and user management.

Familiarity with Oracle APEX for application development and Oracle Forms and Reports for legacy systems maintenance.

• Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher for report generation and data visualization.

Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite integration and customization is a plus.

• Working knowledge of MongoDB NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL databases.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Bash Shell, and Batch scripting.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
