REQ11200 Pit Supervisor (Open Date: 06/06/2024)

Position Summary

Supervise the activities of the casino gaming tables such as Baccarat, Blackjack and Roulette and related services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervises table games and ensures the dealers adherence to all rules and procedures.
  • Approves customer buy-in transactions as required.
  • Investigates appropriate and efficient fill and credit transactions.
  • Educates players on the rules and procedures of the table game.
  • Responsible for table game security at all times.
  • Completes hourly updates of table win/loss and is aware of table financial performance.
  • Keeps accurate records of play for all rated customers.
  • Solves disputes quickly and efficiently according to rules & procedures and in line with the Empowerment Code (escalates to Manager, Pit Level as required).
  • Monitors the performance of allocated dealers and coaches them to achieve excellence.
  • Provides accurate constructive feedback to members of their performance group.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures.
  • Recommends and/or executes management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign, or discipline employees.
  • Hospitality and Courtesy 13.1. Ensures that the gaming floor and tables remain clean and free from clutter. 13.2. Personally takes responsibility for their work area. 13.3. Adheres to company established personal hygiene, grooming and presentation guidelines. 13.4. Receives guests in a warm and welcoming manner. 13.5. Listens and is attentive to the needs and requirements of our guests. 13.6. Identifies the needs of our guests and offers to help accordingly. 13.7. Is considerate and understanding of our guests in every occasion. 13.8. Treats all guests and fellow team members with respect and courtesy. 13.9. Takes every occasion to offer assistance.
  • Disposition 14.1. Is enthusiastic regardless of the repetitive nature of some tasks.

14.2. Maintains a welcoming and friendly character despite personal/outside influences.

14.3. Friendly and eager to work as part of a team.

14.4. Professional work ethic with a strong emphasis on discretion.

14.5. Remains attentive even when tired.

  • Integrity 15.1. Displays honesty in all situations. 15.2. Reports any dishonest actions observed or known. 15.3. Speaks positively about guests, other team members and our business in all situations on and off property. 15.4. Reports all guest complaints and compliments to Manager, Pit. 15.5. Adheres to Company and Departmental guidelines and standards. 15.6. Shares with next shift the information needed for them to succeed.
  • Dependability 16.1. Reports to work as scheduled and on time. 16.2. Complies with Attendance Policy. 16.3. Practices teamwork and offers support and assistance to other team members and departments. 16.4. Acts to protect and preserve property at City of Dreams Manila. All areas, equipment and furnishings are kept exceptionally neat, clean and in good repair. Reports defective or broken equipment and furnishings.
  • Physical Demands 17.1. While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The team member will be required to maintain a positive facial expression and body language for long periods of time. 17.2. The Team Member will be required to meet all appearance guidelines while on duty. 17.3. These physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Work Environment 18.1. Must be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environments such as, but not limited to noise, dust, cigarette smoke and fragrances. 18.2. Must be able to tolerate second hand smoke. 18.3. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Will be exposed to electrical and other hazards. 18.4. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

Qualifications

I. Experience

Minimum two years as a Table Games dealer and competent in at least two major games

II. Education

Tertiary Education Is Preferred But Not Essential

III. Skills / Competencies / Attributes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Experience in the Asian gaming market is desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of the Gaming industry.
  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
