About the Role: - Guide through impactful service incidents, own the investigation, diagnose, identify root causes, and take actions to permanently resolve issues.
Manage capacity of core and broadband networks to maintain optimal customer performance with a proactive approach.- Analyze L2 support requests from individual business units, resolve issues, and escalate to relevant teams as needed.
Proactively monitor the platform, interpret data, and take necessary actions to ensure continuous 24/7 uptime (within scheduled shifts).
- Monitor service components using tools such as Dynatrace.
Track maintenance announcements from platform providers and inform related teams.- Work rotating shifts to ensure continuous platform operation, participate in planned activities.
Maintain services at the highest quality and availability.
- Troubleshoot and provide permanent or temporary solutions to customer complaints promptly.
Identify, prioritize, and escalate issues to appropriate teams when necessary.- Create defect/bug reports for L3 support using Jira tickets and monitor their status regularly.
Good proficiency in English.- Must have proficiency in at least one of the following skills, with a willingness to learn others: Java, SQL, Oracle PLSQL, Oracle DB, Postgres, Network, Linux Systems.
Experience with Event Driven Architecture, RabbitMQ, and Dynatrace is a plus.
- Knowledge of Java applications (Oracle, PostgreSQL integrations, log monitoring, etc.).
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.- Ability to write scripts for automation purposes.
Experience working with ticketing environments such as Jira and service desk.
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools like Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
Proficiency in SQL queries (Oracle, PostgreSQL).- Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Preferred: Well-rounded experience with multiple operating systems, web technologies, and test environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency.- Willingness to work onsite in Pasay City.
Open to working on shifting schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- At least two years of college or university education or equivalent experience.
