What you'll be doing Custom Development
- Develop extensive WordPress backend theme and plugin customizations.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code to extend the functionality of WordPress.- Integrate with third-party APIs and connect WordPress to other systems.
Collaboration and Project Leadership- Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Take a leadership role on WordPress projects, guiding project direction and team contributions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practice
Performance Optimization and Maintenance
- Monitor the performance of the live website and apply necessary optimizations for speed and scalability.
Perform routine site audits for security and functionality.- Handle other WordPress duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Testing and Quality Assurance- Implement testing plans to ensure site functionality and responsiveness across browsers and devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress and PHP code.
Intimate knowledge of PHP with experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Knowledgeable in existing WordPress plugins and development tools.
Can work independently or with a group.- Strong verbal communication and written communication skills, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Graduate of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant fields.
- Possess a good moral character, good problem-solving skills, hardworking, team player, and can work with minimal to no supervision.
Experience in Search Engine Optimization
- Knowledgeable in Financial Technologies or Payment Systems and Integration
Experience with WordPress page builders like Houzez, Elementor, or WooCommerce.- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as VueJS or ReactJS, and backend frameworks like Django
