Your Role: As a
Photo Retouchers Team Lead, you will:
- The Team Leader is responsible for organizing incoming jobs and assigning roles to the team to ensure each task is completed efficiently. This includes selecting the best images, utilizing AI software for retouching, and cropping images in Photoshop. Additionaretouching in Photoshop may be required to address any limitations of the AI
software. Team leader will also assist with output, ensuring team KPIs are met, recruitment & training. - The Team Leader will also conduct photo retouching in a four-step process for each job:
1. Flag images in Lightroom.
2. Run images through AI retouching software.
3. Crop and perform any necessary additional retouching in Photoshop.
4. Add the final images to ProSelect software and send them to the studio.
What You Need: Non-negotiables- High-quality retouching skills, with a focus on maintaining skin detail and avoiding over-retouching. Must be able to work efficiently at high-volume.
- Have a high level of creative ability, in addition to technical
retouch ability. - Has experience successfully managing a team
- Highly diligent and efficient in decision-making, with a proven ability
to perform well under pressure. Consistently reliable in delivering
results. - Experience working as a photo retoucher in a studio or a photographer
conducting the retouching of their own photographs. - Experience in portrait or e-commerce photo retouching.
- Demonstrate excellent people and leadership skills, capable of motivating the team to meet targets.
- Proactive in ensuring the team is fully staffed and effectively rostered at all times
