Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant

• Reports To: Store Pharmacist

• Job Level Required: At least 1 year of experience.

• Office Location: Cogon Ramos, Cebu City (landmark: near Sacred Heart Center)

• Salary & Benefits:

Php12,207 - Php14,000 monthly depending on experience and qualifications

10 Paid Vacation Days - Received in First Year - Accrued

• Job Description:

Responsible for assisting pharmacists, dispensing medication, and providing customer service. They also handle inventory and keep the pharmacy running smoothly.

• Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Address customer inquiries.

Takes manual orders/customer orders on queue. Verify inventory as to availability of stocks. Take orders and receives payment accurately.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications with approval from the licensed pharmacist.

Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies.

• Check and manage expiry dates of medications to ensure compliance with regulations.

Conduct regular stock counts and assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels.

• Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, handling customer inquiries, and scheduling appointments.

Process prescription orders, insurance claims, and other paperwork accurately.

• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing over-the-counter medications and health products.

Keep the OTC area well-stocked, clean, and organized.

• Encourage patients to adopt healthy practices and recommend non-prescription products when appropriate.

Adhere to pharmacy regulations, laws, and standards related to medication dispensing and customer confidentiality.

• Stay informed about changes in pharmacy regulations and attend relevant training sessions.

Work collaboratively with pharmacists
