Job Description
- You will perform daily and monthly financial and accounting transactions with the general ledger system.
- You are expected to manage and execute monthly analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, analyzes financial information, prepares reports, and verifies accuracy.
- Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
- Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
- Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
- Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
- Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
- You will assist with the automation and streamlining of internal and corporate reporting processes.
- You will be working under the Finance and Accounting business services group
Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in accounting or related field is preferred
- CPA is preferred
- 2 to 3 years experience of processing/handling GL
- With prior work experience in BPO, PEZA, BOI (Board of Investment
- Ability to operate a PC efficiently with applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook etc. (Must have)
- Working knowledge of large Enterprise Resource
