Compliance Specialist/Manager Philippines
The Compliance Specialist/Manager serves as the local representative of the global ethics and compliance program for Unisys coordinating all activities through the Director of Compliance for the APAC region. Primary responsibilities include reinforcing the company's Code of Ethical Conduct and its associated policies and procedures through communications, training programs, and assisting with investigations of potential violations of the Code. Specific job duties include:
Evaluating current business strategies and documentation to ensure compliance with established policies and regulatory requirements. Assisting with investigations and with the development of strategies for responding to incidents of non-compliance. Serve as local subject matter expert, advising and training associates on ethics and compliance matters. Suggest improvements to existing ethics and compliance training materials, policies and procedures to best address local risks. Assisting with the design, implementation, monitoring, and measurement of effective controls designed to reduce ethics and compliance risks. Assisting with regional ethics and compliance initiatives from time-to-time as directed by the Direction of Compliance for the region.
Key Competencies :
Knowledge of best practices for ethics and compliance programs in multinational organizations including solid understanding of bribery and corruption and human trafficking prevention regulations.
CCEP certification and experience conducting investigations preferred.
Strong English language skills.
Understanding of local ethics and compliance regulations and requirements and their application to a publicly traded U.S. company.
Problem solving skills including the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
Collaborative team member with a sense of humor!
