- Key Responsibilities:
Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
- Assess pets conditions and identify any health concerns, communicating these to pet owners as needed.
Manage grooming appointments, ensuring timely service and maintaining a schedule.- Provide excellent customer service, including discussing grooming options with pet owners and addressing their concerns.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including cleaning grooming tools and equipment.
- Handle pets in a gentle and calm manner to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming sessions.
Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, styles, and pet care trends.- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the wellbeing of pets and staff.
Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or relevant training/education.- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with patience and care.
Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality grooming services.- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy pets if necessary.
Certification from a recognized pet grooming school is preferred but not required.
