Position : Pest Control SupervisorPosition Overview:
The Pest Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the pest control operations of our company. This position requires strong knowledge of pest control techniques, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Supervision and Team Management:
- Supervise a team of pest control technicians and provide guidance and support.
- Assign work schedules, routes, and tasks to pest control technicians.
- Train and mentor technicians in pest control methods, safety protocols, and customer service.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to technicians.
- Address any performance or disciplinary issues promptly and appropriately.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment within the team.
- Pest Control Operations:
- Ensure that all pest control operations are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Develop and implement pest control plans and strategies for different types of infestations.
- Conduct inspections and assessments to identify pest issues and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Supervise the application of pest control treatments, including chemical application, trapping, and exclusion methods.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations during pest control operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pest control treatments and make adjustments as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest pest control techniques, products, and regulations.
- Customer Service and Relations:
- Interact with customers to address their pest control concerns and provide appropriate solutions.
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding pest control treatments and preventive measures.
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and satisfactory manner.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and service.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including treatment reports, customer information, and inventory.
- Prepare reports on pest control operations, including performance metrics, trends, and recommendations.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to management.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing pest control activities.
- Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to pest control protocols and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies as required and assist in inspections and audits.
- Qualifications and Skills:*
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in pest control, entomology, or related fields are preferred.
- Proven experience in pest control operations, including hands-on experience in treating a variety of pests.
- Strong knowledge of pest control techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to analyze pest control issues, develop effective treatment plans, and make recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Familiarity with pest control regulations and safety guidelines.
- Valid pest control license or certifications (if required by local regulations).
- Valid driver's license.
