Personal chefs are in charge of making customized meals for customers in their own kitchens or in the kitchens of their clients. They purchase for meal ingredients, arrange meals based on the requirements, tastes, and dietary requirements of their clients, and package meals appropriately.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspecting meal ingredients before making purchases to ensure that they are of the highest quality.
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas before and after meal preparation.
Preparing customized meal plans for clients based on their preferences, specifications, and dietary needs.- Conferring with clients to determine their meal preferences, specifications, food allergies, and dietary restrictions.
- QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or associate degree in culinary arts is preferred.- Proven work experience as a personal chef or relevant role in the culinary field
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- A strong understanding of nutrition.
Detail-oriented.- Familiarity with sanitation regulations
Comfortable working in a private home environment
