We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Australian Tax Accounting within a Public Practice firm.

Salary starting from 115,000 pesos per month + HMO & 13th month.

• Working Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm PH time.

• Job Summary:

As the Senior Accountant, you will manage all production accounting tasks, including preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial statements and meeting taxation obligations to ensure high-quality and professional accounting results.

You should have a strong understanding of Australian taxation regulations, proficient bookkeeping skills, and familiarity with administrative procedures. Experience with Xero software is desirable.

• Roles and Responsibilities:

Attend weekly company training and taxation training sessions.

• Review the work of less experienced team members and delegate tasks as directed by your manager.

Prepare monthly and quarterly business activity statements.

• Prepare annual tax returns and financial accounts for SMSFs.

Companies

• Trusts

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying any discrepancies and resolving them promptly.

Stay updated on changes in taxation laws and regulations to ensure compliance and advise clients accordingly.

• Mentor and train junior staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring high standards of work.
