Summary:
The Security Administrator will play a critical role in supporting our Finance team by providing the necessary security roles to our PeopleSoft ERP system users in performing their assigned duties. The role will include planning, development, coordination, configuration, and maintenance of the financial security roles to ensure the successful delivery to meet the desired outcomes while mitigating risk. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the achievement of the security deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Champion security accuracy and look for ways to improve the process of identifying security needs.
- Drive process improvements, solution efficiencies, documentation, and education around security roles and segregation of duties initiatives.
- Meet with internal customers to understand requirements and build upon those requirements.
- Provide proactive recommendations on solution design or improvements, utilizing the latest features and tools available.
- Create opportunities for internal customer training and upskilling, generate training materials and lead efforts to train stakeholders.
- Design, and document solutions/improvements for customer's security needs while owning the design & architecture elements of role development.
- Balance excellent customer service to our internal customers while also advocating for best practices.
- Participate in the deployment of projects and new functionality security needs, timing, and training.
- Deliver customer service while supporting the financial users, IT and Global IT Risk & Compliance.
- Ad Hoc Projects as designated.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience administering and maintaining security roles, permission lists and user profiles.
- 5+ years experience working within PeopleSoft (preferred) or other ERP system focusing on Security as system administrator (related skills & activities).
- 5+ years experience working within a finance setting while managing security roles, and segregation of duties analysis.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of security and its many levels.
- A capability to truly listen to our customers and partners, internalize their needs and developing security roles to meet their needs, while mitigating risk and maintaining security integrity in accordance with industry best practices.
- Knowledge of Security and Compliance in the enterprise, including but not limited to, Security Infrastructure, Security Assessments, PCI/SOX/SOC Compliance at the enterprise level preferred.
- Adept at building partnerships across multiple business units and executing effectively.
- Possess strong consulting, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities while staying on time for deliverables.
- Conveys difficult messages or feedback in a direct manner.
- Reviewing finance team access needs to determine appropriate roles needed.
- Reviewing roles and permission lists assigned to individuals identifying and segregation of duties conflicts, avoiding overlap of security among users.
