PEOPLESOFT HCM:

Summary:

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, analyzing business needs, and developing solutions to enhance the application's functionality and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

-Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

-Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

-Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

-Analyze business needs and develop solutions to enhance the application's functionality and performance.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of applications.

-Perform unit testing and debugging to identify and fix application defects.

-Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application issues.

-Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Oracle PeopleSoft HCM to recommend and implement best practices.

-Assist in the documentation of application design, development, and maintenance processes.

Professional & Technical Skills:

-Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft HCM.

-Strong understanding of application development principles and methodologies.

-Experience in designing and developing applications using Oracle PeopleSoft HCM.

-Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and database management.

-Experience with application integration and customization.

-Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

-Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.

-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Additional Information:

-The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft HCM.
