KBF is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist.

Collaborating with the KBF Payroll Team, the Payroll Specialist will provide administration, implementation, and execution of processes and system requirements related to payroll. This position will spearhead personalized payroll support for KBF clients, working from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Philippine time with a varied training schedule. This position is for Philippine-based applicants only and is willing to work hybrid in BGC, Taguig.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for KBF clients for processing payroll using various payroll software, maintaining employee payroll databases, responding to payroll-related inquiries, and providing payroll resolutions in compliance with client's regulatory standards.
  • Introduce process improvements that optimize payroll softwares to enhance the experience of employees and clients, respectively.
  • Develop and implement data audit processes to ensure data integrity for systems and related services.
  • Calculate payroll and financial information such as salary, wages, benefits, payroll, and tax deductions, etc.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing and recording of payroll and financial information.
  • Partner with client stakeholders in preparing periodic payroll and financial reports, paychecks, and cash deposits for accounting and auditing purposes.
  • Create, publish, and update reports and related data analytics for client stakeholders to make informed payroll decisions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree related to accounting is required.
  • US and PH CPP certification is an advantage.
  • Strong grasp of US payroll tax and employment law.
  • With experience in dealing with IRS notices related to employment taxes.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities with global payroll experience and stakeholder engagements. US multi-state payroll experience is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable of payroll softwares such as Quickbooks, ADP, Gusto, Rippling, Paylocity, Justworks, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Motivated, quick learner with strong communication skills and demonstrated professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to professionally communicate both verbally and written with KBF employees and clients.
