Job Description

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all day-to-day Payroll processing for bi weekly and monthly payroll, conducting payroll audits to ensure adherence to application policies and regulations
  • Resolve complex payroll processing & employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing
  • Answer payroll and tax related questions from employees
  • Ensure payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and all local regulations
  • Support Monthly and Quarterly close by reconciling payroll accounts
  • Review and analyze month/quarter end compensation accruals and expenses by region, state, franchise brand or restaurant
  • Review and implement process improvements for employee adherence to published T&E policies and audits
  • Maintenance and management of transactions related to 606 commissions
  • Collaborate with HR on employee hires, changes, and terminations
  • Collaborate with Benefits on payroll related deductions and benefit changes and updates
  • Collaborate with the team when needed to scale global payroll operations
  • Support payroll audits for execution of statutory and US GAAP financial statements
  • Assist in transitioning international payroll operations over to Workday and help with implementation processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance, CPA or CPP is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years general accounting experience
  • Advanced PC and/or Mac book skills, specifically with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Google Docs and downloading, importing and exporting files and google suite
  • Knowledge of operational accounting processes
  • Knowledge of operational payroll processes
  • Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
  • Ability to collaborate & communicate effectively with internal partners on issues and provide recommendations
  • Possess excellent attention to detail; excellent analytical, and reconciliation skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Strong problem solver, possessing the ability to see how the different pieces of the puzzle fit together
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • RTO 2-4x a month in Pasay
